Camp Directors
Kitchen Manager and Cook

Jason and Anita Boucher moved to Big River Bible Camp in the summer of 2004, with no idea of how camp was run!  They moved with young children and a dream to make it 5 years. God had many adventures in store for them!   Their kids have grown up at Bible camp. Their oldest son, Morgan is married to Madison and they have a daughter, which makes Jason and Anita grandparents! Malachi has finished high school and is pursuing more Biblical education at college. Marybeth is continuing her homeschool journey and spends her days dreaming and planning for the camp season to start. Most days, the Bouchers love what they do and eat, sleep, and breathe camp.

The Blocks

LIT and Media Director
Winter Follow-Up Director

We are the Block family.  Our family has been working summers at Big River Bible Camp since 2014 and has been working year-round at the camp since 2016.  I (Timothy) work with the LIT program at camp and am responsible for the different areas of camp media.  Our family is also able to be a part of off-season outreaches such as Awana, staff retreats, and facilitating guest groups. Since we felt God calling us to work at BRBC it has been such a blessing to be here to see and be a part of the work that God is doing!

Head of Maitenance

Sara Gabrielson and I (Lucas) returned to NCEM after a 3 year absence and joined the staff at BRBC in the fall of 2018.
BRBC is the 4th camp I has served at, after previously serving in various roles at Camp of the Woods (2003-2005), Timber Bay Bible Camp (2006-2009), and Pine Ridge Bible Camp (2009-2015). Sara had several years of full-time ministry experience in Canada and internationally before joining Lucas at Pine Ridge in 2010. Carleigh and Barclay were born during their time at PRBC.
Lucas will primarily be working on the maintenance/site side of things, but will be open to whatever Jason throws his way. Our son Barclay has autism, and requires more attention and care than most children do. So Sara will help with a variety of things as time allows, such as registration and hospitality.
